Exiled to the Real World

An old sketch that I roughly colored in photoshop...I have a long ways to go till I get better at this.

But it's interesting seeing old ideas refreshed in colors and digital sharpness.

This is the main character from a story I wanted to write when I was like 15 about people living in the sky.

This other-dimensional sky was solely found in the world where dreams are created and the people, characterized by wings on their feet, only exist in dreams.

haha pretty classical 15-year old fantasy plot-line.. but I can't help but still want to work on it.

Street Sleeper

This girl was just roaming around.

This is the first ALMOST completed digital coloring using my tablet.

(Photoshop assistance via my classmate/friend Ian)

Mermaids

Heres my final for rendering. Probably my favorite of the semester.

Micron pen stippling on hot press illustration board.

Blugs

Here are some of my entrants for the worst photography in the world contest. But other than that they are also paintings of mine.

This is my final for figure block class. The assignment is to do a master copy + self portrait. Probably my least favorite assignment thus far but Alexander John White was a good person to copy. This is my first pass

This is the final in-class painting figure block.

Medusa (Preliminary Sketch)

Lies wait in the deep.

Sorry about the bad quality. . this is just first thumbnail so more profesh versions coming soon.

Watercolors into the Ocean?

Here's this little orangie guy.

Not too good at watercolor at this point but it was my first time.

Perhaps my frustration will someday dissipate.
