Palabras

The best boxed prizes always are flash painted in chromium scales

--------------------------------------

After a certain place
Faces start to look so familiar
It's scary
Barely as much hope in sewage systems as progress
But still constant comfort
I Think this is the most deadly
Its poison seeps slowly,
gradually through pores of skin
Softly and with warmth
So sometimes you'll die before you know you're dead.

Mission: ..... FAILURE!

There was a dire mistake in the culturing process... it seems some malicious force crept in during the night, while I peacefully slept, and made disastrous results in the Scoby plantation grounds.
It destroyed millions...
Peaceful bacteria hunting and gathering for nutrition slowly became poisoned with the fumes of contamination and we could only stare in horror as day after day they became weaker to the attackers.
I wanted to help...
Oh how I wanted to do something to save those innocent civilians.
Those peaceful workers who only wanted to make a life for themselves...
Only wanted to make the most of what they had been given.

The city that was once red with the force of production and industry now began to sink into the now salty mire of juice-ocean below. Like the lost city of Atlantis, it was only a matter of time before this beautiful and flourishing city was wiped out under the sea.
My poor friends... I weep at their fond memories. I am haunted by the eerie familiar bubbling of their town. Now I can only cringe at the thought of their mangled and decrepit ruins that lie on the bottom of the kitchen disposal. Most likely, they are halfway across the world, fizzing at the top of the Atlantic Ocean. They have become one with that from which they came.

God rest their sweet souls.

Dream Statements - Total Recall

I remember waking up and all the lights being on in my room. There was a whole splay of wires and cords and reactors suddenly set up all around my bookshelves and some man in a suit typing wildly on some Dell laptop on top of my shelves. I sat up and began to think that it was strange that I slept through all this with these blinding spotlights on my ceiling. I wasn't at all afraid, just concerned and confused.
I just squinted and said , "What are you doing?" Through all the running scripts and code beeping all over the place, he looked at me briefly and then in an instant connected my laptop to his and bolted out the door. I scrambled over my covers and was afraid he planted a bomb or something but I opened my computer screen and it looked like he was just downloading music files or something. Then I got super mad because it was through Napster and I remember thinking,
You idiot! Napster is gonna give my computer so many viruses!
So I tried to stop the files and then a warning sign came up and then a million pop-ups covered my screen. I just groaned in frustration and was extremely angry.
It was pretty funny but I was actually extremely upset he ruined my computer and I had to clear out all the excess wires and mess that he left.

A Kid Story - Imaginary Faces that Live Underground

"Come and see me down on Earth!"
A shining stone called from the foot of a mountain.
The eyes of the cloud blinked tiredly, and stretched themselves awake. She yawned and moaned and extended her arms into the air. Her back folded out and she lifted herself from her bed, that still slept softly beneath her. A cubic head emerged from over the ledge and looked downward. One eye blinked quietly and the pale pink iris scanned the faraway lands below.

"I am here!"
And with this, the stone lifted the dirt and roots beneath him and threw two limbs into the air, where they hardened and stuck straight from the ground. He smiled slightly uncomfortably yet was quite pleased with his crooked arm and leg.
The creature in the clouds stood incredulous. She glanced about, wondering if the gulls had seen this magical sight but they seemed to be flying ignorantly around her as usual. The cubic headed girl merely stood rigidly, keeping the eye fixed upon the uneven ground.

The sun seemed to beam now, and the rock lapped up the rays. A creeping smile came across his face and simultaneously a common sparrow perched upon his outstretched and coarsely crafted hand.
A gust of wind blew from above and upon it flew a flock of friendly sparrows. They clasped to their places upon the arms and legs of the creature and began to flap steadily.
"Oh."
And the rock began to twitch newly formed eyes.
They beat the air with many wings and the arms and legs of a frail figure were strung out from the roots and clay underground. As the creature emerged piece by piece, the girl could see that this was not a stone at all, but a seed pod for a head, and a body crafted by the hands of the earth. As his body was freed, the birds released the arms and hands of the creature and curiously flew about the head. Instinctively, the first sparrow took a light peck at the glowing seed. A speck of the external coating was chipped away and gave the birds a glance into the abundant supply below the surface. In a moment, his grin was torn downwards by talons and beaks and a frenzied feast ensued. He did nothing but feel, for the first time in his solitary life, as the birds revealed a gooey underlayer to his face. Dripping with warmth, he could feel wetness running down the curves and see bright colors surrounding him. It was a curious sensation and as the feathered friends departed in flight, he sighed at the demise of his newly formed face.

A quiet voice then rang clear like a bell. "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king."
He smiled and laughed at the clouds.
